okay so instead of wasting 70k on a car with my other 35 grand i bought a 2004 mastercraft ski boat mint condition. so i have about 38k left over so i want a car under 35k so i can pay the taxes on it when i buy it. and yes i still have money for gas, oil and repairs, but this is money for a new car. what car has the best 0-60 time, and 1/4 mile time. car must be under 35k thanks so much

Here in Indiana we are being reassed without anyone comming to our houses, it is sometimes doubled, not saying the home would sell for that much, it would not. Reasseing goes through someone in Ohio! then goes to our Cnty tresurer to make sure we pay so much money and allot of people have been losing their homes because they cannot afford to pay the taxes.
We have a couple days to appeal the assement tosay why this is an unfair assement, it is, way too high! So what things should I say in my assment to try to help myself? I will say the truth, same windows as when the home built, same shingles, etc. The taxes are higher than some of the customers I had in elite neighborhoods only a couple years ago! Our councelman says won’t do any good, even with an attorney! They brought in the gambeling boats to help relieve the taxes, it was all a lie. No monies have been used to relieve us.Thanks!

Look: Rich people don’t pay their fair share. It’s like this, let’s say they make about $10,000 a week (and most of them do) then they only take out about $5 in taxes on that $10,000.

they take out about $200 a week on my check…and some of you it’s about the same or more

but where is our money going???????

to pay for those rich people’s big houses you see, their big boats and fansy crap they have…….WE pay for that…not them

Hrere’s the sad truth….rich people or the top 5% only pay about 1/2% of taxes…the middle class (us) and the poor pay most of all taxes

Obama wants toi change this……..BUSH & McCain (and they are working together) want the poor to pay for their life-styles

I’m just like everyone else…I want free health-care…they take out $82 every 2 weeks from my check to pay for this…isn’t it time to make the rich pay for this…they can afford it.

In 2003 I was forced to go on SSD and my income was such that I didn’t have money to pay IRS and enough money to live on at the same time. I contacted them and they waived or cancelled what I owed them, now I find that the stimulas payment we all were to receive was taken by them to help pay the back taxes. So if the stimulas payment is for boosting the economy does it help to give it to the IRS? Not that I shouldn’t pay my taxes, which I do believe I should, and how many other people are in this same boat?

I’m interested in finding a fixer -upper to assume . Where should I look? Can i assume a house for back taxes as well if i pay the taxes? I hate to take advantage of someones misfortune, im kind of in the same boat myself. But i dont want to be in hock any more in the future
