i have to pay in every year because I work on a fishing boat and I couldn’t afford to pay in because i needed to save as much money as possible in order to pay my rent throughout the winter but I talked with someone who said I might still be able to get unemployment benefits but I’m not sure

Here in Indiana we are being reassed without anyone comming to our houses, it is sometimes doubled, not saying the home would sell for that much, it would not. Reasseing goes through someone in Ohio! then goes to our Cnty tresurer to make sure we pay so much money and allot of people have been losing their homes because they cannot afford to pay the taxes.
We have a couple days to appeal the assement tosay why this is an unfair assement, it is, way too high! So what things should I say in my assment to try to help myself? I will say the truth, same windows as when the home built, same shingles, etc. The taxes are higher than some of the customers I had in elite neighborhoods only a couple years ago! Our councelman says won’t do any good, even with an attorney! They brought in the gambeling boats to help relieve the taxes, it was all a lie. No monies have been used to relieve us.Thanks!
