Perpetual war, with no money to fund it and previous debts looming like an albatross on the prow of the boat. A life with no taxes, yet expecting roads to be built, governments to function, the mail to be delivered, the military to protect them. A world free of sex, except in the sanctuary of marriage, yet Single Mom families are more prevalent in Red States than in the “Liberal” States. The Poor dependent upon charitable help, with charities begging for money and going broke. Health care available for the prosperous, with poorer people going without medical care. Huge fines for cursing or sexual escapades on national television, but no accountability for their Congressional leaders who have proven to be corrupt, with indictments flying like flocks of sparrows in the fall.
Are Republicans living in a Dream World, with common sense taking a back seat to personal greed? Do they want a country where the Poor are dying on streetcorners, while the Wealthy thrive?

Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens boasted that he would give $1 million to anyone who can disprove “even a single charge” leveled by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, who he funded to the tune of $3 milion. Kerry offered to meet with Pickens and do so, with the million dollars going to veterans’ charities. Now Pickens seems to be backpedaling.

But he does have 2 boats, nice car, pickup truck (gas guzzler), large flat TV, laptop, dsl, atv, recent home remodel, Central AC, rec room with pool table and stocked bar, dinner out every week, riding mower (I push mine). Is it wrong for me to not want to pay for his health insurance? I have no problem helping the needy, and I often do through charities.

I just watched an episode of Oprah that was about children working on fishing boats in Ghana and how an organization called IOM is a place where you can help. Well, the website isn’t working but has anyone had an experiences with IOM? I always want to help and give to charities but i don’t know which ones are actually worth donating too, meaning i don’t know what is a good percentage for them to actually use of the money you give. I heard that even 5% is a lot for them to take out but I’m really not sure. Are there any more organizations like IOM that are reputable? Thanks

I’m really getting tired of people saying.
“I WAnna bE FamouS ssSs”
It’s annoying, anybody with a camera can be famous these days. It takes an enjoyable talent and a will to be real to be respectably famous.
I wanna go and sing but not to be big and famous, I want to take the money I make and fund charities and research not blow it all on a boat.
jeez.
