Perpetual war, with no money to fund it and previous debts looming like an albatross on the prow of the boat. A life with no taxes, yet expecting roads to be built, governments to function, the mail to be delivered, the military to protect them. A world free of sex, except in the sanctuary of marriage, yet Single Mom families are more prevalent in Red States than in the “Liberal” States. The Poor dependent upon charitable help, with charities begging for money and going broke. Health care available for the prosperous, with poorer people going without medical care. Huge fines for cursing or sexual escapades on national television, but no accountability for their Congressional leaders who have proven to be corrupt, with indictments flying like flocks of sparrows in the fall.

Are Republicans living in a Dream World, with common sense taking a back seat to personal greed? Do they want a country where the Poor are dying on streetcorners, while the Wealthy thrive?

I have a 1979 Sea Sprite 14 ft, fiberglass boat. It has a Mercury 50 outboard HP engine. I am sure the engine is good but the interior of the boat needs major work. The exterior is in fair condition. I contacted Helping Hands of America and they came out to look at it and will not take it because of its condition. I later found out that they in turn would sell my boat for their charity. I need to get rid of this boat. Who should I contact? Please help! Thanks!
I am just outside Boston Massachusetts.

I have a brother that is going to turn 20 in October, a sister turning 18 in November, and another sister turning 16 in November and i’m turning 15 in December. We were thinking to have a party for all of us on a yacht. We were going to think about considering a sponsor and instead of people bringing gifts for us we will donate the presents they bring and donate it to a charity. That’s how we were thinking about covering the expenses with the boat and everything. Im debating if this is a good idea?? PLEASE HELP!!

Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens boasted that he would give $1 million to anyone who can disprove “even a single charge” leveled by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, who he funded to the tune of $3 milion. Kerry offered to meet with Pickens and do so, with the million dollars going to veterans’ charities. Now Pickens seems to be backpedaling.
