I filed my 07 tax return using Turbo Tax. I owed tax which were directly debited from my bank in first week of april 08. Chose to direct deposit my Economic Stimulus Tax Rebate in same account. Was supposed to receive it on May 16th. Nothing so far. IRS web tool/phone gives no information on my SSN. No customer support agents available to answer. This is really frustrating. When would I receive the rebate? Anyone in same boat?

Since you used turbo tax, you need to look at the schedule of mail dates for paper checks. Good luck!

yes, as previously stated, you’d have to wait for yours in the mail. If you paid any third party (H&R, Jackson Hewitt, Turbo Tax) preperation fees and/or if you previously owed taxes….you’ll have to wait for it in the mail.
The same is true if you opted for a Rapid Return or Refund Anticipation Loan

Sorry, but you other posters need to read the entire question that is being asked. just because you used turbo tax that doesnt mean you will be getting a paper check unless you asked for it which i see you did owe taxes and had it paid from your bank acct. now if you provided the irs with you routing and acct number than you will still get DD, it just depends on if your taxes were filed before April 15, which is a bunch of talk, because my Husband taxes were done on April 15 and he owed taxes as well. he paid the Turbo tax fees from his bank acct, and his last 2 are 76 he didnt get his direct deposit on the actual date of May 16 as scheduled by the IRS due to him owing taxes, so the IRS deducted the fees that he owed from his stimulus payment and direct deposit the remaining today. his information was avail on the irs site on 5/19.. Just wait a couple of days to see if your information will be available..
